READY FOR THE WEEKEND

DIESEL skinzee jeans via Fashiolista / OASAP jacket / ZARA sweater
MONKI denim shirt / GINA TRICOT beanie / CONVERSE chucks

Today's outfit is a very casual look I wore to class but I like the result! Navy and leopard is a colour/print combination I've been crushing on for a while and last week it was finally time to try it out myself. Since those university chairs aren't the most comfortable seats I've ever experienced, comfort is definitely key. These Diesel Skinzees that I showed you a few posts ago are my current favourite jeans since they A) fit like a glove and feel like jeggings, B) keep their fit, even after weeks (!) and C) basically look good with anything. Hallelujah! Praise the denim lord! Anyway, you know what I'm talking about.

How was your long weekend? I visited the Boekenbeurs, went to a great Arctic Monkeys concert with my dear Valerie and online-friends-went-offline Patricia, Marijs, Katrin and Isabelle, had lunch with the grandparents, read old books in Middle Dutch for university and had some well-deserved couch-time with the boyfriend! I'd like to say I'm recharged and ready for a new week but actually I'm exhausted and looking forward to Friday! How about you? Photos by The Styling Dutchman

ISABEL MARANT POUR H&M

Tomorrow is the big day! The Isabel Marant pour H&M collection launches at 9AM at H&M stores all over the world! This one is probably my favourite collaboration in years and still I'm doubting whether I should get in line in the morning or hit that snooze button a few more times. When the collaboration was announced a few months ago, I was enthusiast but not thrilled. Now that more and more wearable outfits with the clothes pop up on blogs, all of the product shots are released and I myself had the chance to see the collection up close, I must say that I'm head over heels with almost every piece! Although expected differently, most items are extremely versatile, classy and timeless. Of course I won't go for the baggy leather trousers (won't wear them enough), won't buy the sequin leggings (hello ass) and won't splurge on that printed jacket (wallet says no) but there are a few possible wardrobe-winners worth considering. It's the flowy printed dress, the beautiful blazer with leather rope belt, the subtle jewellery, the well-cut grey coat and the basic and lace tops that make my heart beat faster. But since I have to watch my pennies, I can only afford one, maximum two pieces. Shall I just stay at home to not have to face this heartbreaking situation? Are you going to wait in line and what are your favourite pieces? Let me know!

OASAP GIVEAWAY

Happy Friday guys! To celebrate the start of the weekend, I have a nice surprise for you! Last week I received these two dresses from Oasap but unfortunately both of them didn't fit me. I was quite a sad panda! The good news for you is that I've decided to give them away! Since the size is rather specific not all of you will be able to participate but I hope to make two readers really happy.

The first dress is this printed one, that I absolutely adore! The colours are really beautiful and the fabric feels like a sturdy chiffon, which keeps its straight fit nicely into place. The problem here was that it's way too short and tight for me, so I advise you to check out the measurements HERE (although they aren't entirely correct, me thinks). I think that a size 34-36 and any length below 1m75 would be fine for this dress.

The second item (sorry for the crappy photos!) is this beautiful navy party dress! I don't have a flat-iron at my apartment so excuse me for the wrinkles as well. The length of this dress was perfectly fine for me — it comes about 10cm above my knees and I'm 1m77 - but I didn't have enough space for my shoulders here. Again, I would advise you to check out the measurements HERE but I believe a size 34-36 would be perfect again. Unless you have a bigger size but really tiny shoulders, of course!

What to do if you would like to see one of these items hanging in your closet soon? You simply have to tweet something about this competition/this dress/this blog mentioning @PolienneBlog, #PolienneGiveaway and the url of this page! Of course I need to know which dress is your favourite (unless you want to make a chance on both dresses, of course). I will end the competition on Saturday 16/11/13 at 6PM so make sure to have tweeted your thoughts by then! Good luck and have a great weekend xx

MAJE biker jacket / H&M striped jumper / PULL&BEAR neoprene skirt
HIPSTERS FOR SISTERS leo bag / OFFICE loafers

Happy Saturday everyone! Today's look is pretty basic but nonetheless very classy. The red-stripes-leopard-mini skirt combo makes it very French, don't you think? I'm only missing a beret! Last week I visited a few press agencies in Antwerp to discover the new SS14 collections and this task required something comfortable yet stylish. Press days equals networking, making pictures, catching up with people you haven't seen for a long time, munching on the yummy snacks, making collaboration propositions and dragging bags from one place to another. Elien, Kim and I experienced the most horrible cold and rainy weather that day (we walked from agency to agency!) but luckily we found this indoor hallway to make our outfit pictures. And speaking of the outfit: I don't know if you read about the fact that I found my beautiful suède jacket massively stained with shampoo after a bumpy train ride in my suitcase, but I'm thrilled to announce that the dry cleaning fixed everything and we live happily ever after. The end! Photos by Dogs & Dresses

BANK FASHION c/o dress / CHLOE bag / OASAP sunglasses
H&M cardigan, beanie, necklace & hairy ankle boots

On a cold but sunny day Patricia invited me to take outfit pictures on her rooftop, which has a magnificent view over Antwerp. Within half an hour we were up there, gazing at the cathedral and trying to find my own apartment between all the tiny houses. That morning I was drawn to a mix of natural colors while picking my outfit and these blended in perfectly with the backdrop and the cold November sun. The shooting conditions were ideal and I really love how the photos turned out! As for the outfit: I think this versatile dress is definitely a winner in my wardrobe. For some reason I always feel attracted to dresses with long sleeves — they're just very different and extremely comfortable. Oh and if I'm looking for another way to style it I can always copy Kim, as it turns out we both chose the same dress ;-) Photos by No Glitter No Glory

COLOURFUL JEWELLERY

TiTTo bracelets / OASAP earrings / SELECTED FEMME necklace

I'm not really a jewellery person. Not that I don't have a huge stash of it — I simply forget to put it on in the morning. And when I do think of it, I usually grab something really simplistic like tiny golden knuckle rings, my Michael Kors watch or a silver necklace with my name on. But of course one has to dress up sometimes and on those rare occasions (I really don't like to dress up actually) I tend to go for a splash of colour in my jewellery choice. These three colourful items came into my life little while go and will definitely come in handy during holidays next week. What's your preferred jewellery? Do you like statement pieces or rather choose something minimalistic?

SOFIE VALKIERS FOR ESSENTIEL c/o cardigan / JENNYFER c/o striped shirt
PULL & BEAR neoprene skirt / MONKI beanie / ZARA bag / MICHAEL KORS watch

Earlier this week I convinced myself it would be a great idea to write some posts in advance, since some hectic days would follow and my internet access would be limited. For some reason I figured I  had prepared about two or three posts but when I wanted to publish one this morning, it turned out that I only really finished one. So! This is the most last-minute post ever — excuse me for not telling a real story, I've only slept about 10 hours in the past two days. I'll quickly inform you about the outfit before hopping into a taxi with direction Roermond Outlet today. This cardigan was a gift from Sofie Valkierscollection for Essentiel and I couldn't be happier with it! Something soft pink was exactly what I needed in my wardrobe. The combination with the neon pink beanie was a bit of an experiment, but in the end the result looks pretty good. I hope you like the outfit and can forgive me for my slackness! Have a great Friday xxx Photos by Brunette Blogging.

7 DAYS, 7 OUTFITS

MONDAY

PULL & BEAR coat / MONKI turtleneck jumper / ZARA scarf
UNIQLO jeggings / STEVE MADDEN c/o boots / BALENCIAGA bag

It's time for another 7 days, 7 outfits! I've tried this concept twice and you unanimously loved it, so here we go. This week has been extremely hectic and full of events so I thought this could get interesting for the outfits! Monday was my only 'regular' day, on which I attended class like any other good student and prepared the events I would go to later on. You'll see that throughout the week I tend to pick the same basic pieces and accessories to create an outfit with. In this case, I'm talking about my beautiful new coat, my Balenciaga bag, my biker boots, my favorite scarves and my new Primark sneakers. These active days called for comfortable outfits so you'll notice I'm wearing flat shoes and cozy jumpers most of the time, as usual. This outfit is a perfect example. I wish I could wear it every day (actually, I have, this week).

TUESDAY

CHOIES c/o check jumper / PULL&BEAR skirt
MANGO bag / CONVERSE sneakers

On Tuesday I got up bright and early to drive all the way to Eindhoven, the Netherlands, where I would attend the opening of the new Primark store together with journalist Joni and stylist Marieke. We could discover the store right before it would open to the public at 11AM. The store is the biggest one in the Benelux (4 floors of clothing madness) and was obviously pretty impressive! The quality of the clothes looked a lot better than the time I visited Primark in London, but I do have to say that the experience is totally different when shopping with only about 50 press people in the same building. I bought only a few pieces of clothing, shoes and accessories and went crazy with gift shopping. The store has a Home department as well and let me tell you: the Christmas selection was to die for. I'm not mentioning the pug outfits. Anyway, if you're looking for a very affordable and still fashionable wardrobe update, Primark is your place to go.

WEDNESDAY

PRIMARK denim jacket & sneakers / H&M tee & beanie
ZARA denim shorts / BALENCIAGA bag / SAMSONITE suitcase

Wednesday was probably the most hectic one out of all days last week. I impressed myself and went to class early, after which I had to sprint through the city with my suitcase to catch a train to Brussels. There I met up with partner in crime Elien and with our suitcases in one hand and a Starbucks latte-with-more-milk-and-sugar-than-coffee we walked over to the H&M showroom to discover the spring/summer 2014 collection. After a wonderful welcome, a small food coma (delicious sweets!) and a spring fashion overload we captured our outfits and continued our trip with destination… Paris! We hopped on the Thalys and met up with fellow bloggers Kim, Dorothée and Vincent while munching on our last minute Quick OK Menu. I went for a comfy outfit, again, and wore my new Primark denim jacket with faux sheep lining. This bad boy only cost me €21 euros and it looks pretty fine! I'm also wearing the Primark sneakers I was talking about — I picked these up for just €11. I tried to avoid clichés but... mixing cheap & chic is so 2013.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT

GOOD GENES c/o shirt / ZARA fringed pleather skitrt
FELIX BOEHM FOR EBAY denim clutch / OFFICE loafers

The main purpose of our trip was the opening of the new C&A flagship store at Rue Madeleine on Wednesday night. We checked in into our beautiful hotel (Hotel Basile) and were happily welcomed by some delicious macaroons on our beds. Next up, Elien worked her magic on my hair (wave!), I pulled out my most casual/chic outfit and with a view on the Eiffel tower by night, a taxi drove us to the new shop. The store was pretty massive and C&A completely changed the interior design into something more light and clean. Only a handful of international bloggers was invited that evening, while the press would see the store the day after. We were literally the very first people to shop in the brand new store! It was a great evening and I had the best time meeting several bloggers I've been following for a long time. On top of that, we received a €150 gift card, which I spent very well! I bet you'll be surprised what beautiful items I got!  Soon on the blog. In any case, C&A is definitely stepping up their game by modernizing their collections and offering great quality at the same time. Way to go!

THURSDAY

PULL&BEAR coat & lace skirt / COS men's turtle neck sweater
PRIMARK sneakers / ZARA scarf / BALENCIAGA bag / SAMSONITE suitcase

On Thursday it was time to leave Paris once again, but not before an extensive outfit shoot, some tourist sightseeing and a visit to shopping walhalla Galéries Lafayette! I wore my favourite COS men's turtleneck sweater (which will be my very best friend on cold days) in combination with all of the returning items I warned you for. I arrived back in Antwerp at about 5PM and nearly had time to change my clothes before my friends Robin and Valerie and I drove all the way to Utrecht, the Netherlands, to see one of my favourite bands, Hurts. The concert was magical and I fell head over heels in love with the lead singer, Mr. Theo Hutchcraft, once again. After the concert I attended a party and touched my bed at 3AM. Yawn!

FRIDAY

C&A c/o pastel coat / ZARA fluffy stole / H&M beanie
BOOHOO c/o ripped jeans / CELINE bag / STEVE MADDEN c/o boots

Are you beginning to see my tired face by now? The alarm clock went off way too early after that short night but it was for a good cause. No, the carousel wasn't the good cause (could have been, if you know me) but the place where it was located, was: Designer Outlet Roermond. An entire village bursting with the best designer pieces for the most astonishing prices... It almost sounds like a dream, but I can most definitely remember myself inelegantly slobbering in front of the Prada windows. Something really great happened at Mulberry, but aside from these two wonderful stores we also visited brands like Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Burberry, Filippa K, Calvin Klein, Diesel, Nike and so on. Paradise! I was happy to finally meet the two Dutch bloggers Yara and Joyce, whom I've been following for years now. You'll see all of my cheesy, Christmassy and happy pictures in a full event report soon! My outfit of the day consisted of my new pastel C&A coat that I got at the event in Paris, a fluffy stole by Zara gifted by my dearest mum and a pair of ripped jeans by Boohoo to edge up the sweet look. What do you think?

SATURDAY

PULL&BEAR coat / HUMANOID scarf / H&M beret
BOOHOO c/o cardigan / ZARA ankle boots

On Saturday my mood was pretty dead relaxed and although my body just wanted to sleep all day long, I forced myself to do something productive. First of all I cleaned the entire apartment, after which I went out to take outfit pictures with Marijs. Then I edited a whooooole bunch of photos from my trips earlier that week and finally, we welcomed some guests from the US at our place. At night our friends and I partied all night long to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday on Sunday. We stayed up late, stuffed ourselves with greasy kebab and got drunk, basically. Yey for Saturdays!

SUNDAY

CHOIES c/o cardigan / MONKI jumper / DIESEL skinzee jeans
H&M socks / MULBERRY bag via Roermond Outlet

HOME - at last. Sunday was for chilling the fuck out and barely getting out of the couch. It was my boyfriend's 24th birthday and apart from a quick visit to his parents we stayed in and bundled ourselves up in front of the television. I skipped the make-up part and wore my favourite Skinzee jeans by Diesel (I'll say it again: so comfy!) and a cozy knit and socks. However, I wanted to give you a quick look at my brand new Mulberry baby that I got at Roermond Outlet on Friday! What do you think? Love at first sight as well?

PRIMARK denim jacket, rings & sneakers / ZARA denim shorts
H&M striped top & beanie / BALENCIAGA bag

Hi gals! I'm typing this blogpost on Friday evening after an exhausting day full of class and castings in Brussels and Amsterdam, so forgive me if the writing isn't the most sophisticated I've ever done. You've seen this outfit in my last 7 days, 7 outfits post — I wore it to check out the H&M SS14 collection and to catch my train to Paris for the C&A event I'll tell you more about soon. This outfit made me particularly happy last week, since it was one of the most comfiest things I've worn lately and I felt like a real cool kid strolling around in my double denim and new sneaks. The denim jacket is one of my catches from Primark last week! Don't you just love it? Would you like to see a full shoplog with my items from Primark as well? Allright, my bed is calling so I'll just keep it short! Happy weekend! Photos by Dogs & Dresses

C&A c/o blush coat / ZARA faux fur stole / H&M beanie / MONKI turtle neck sweater
BOOHOO c/o ripped jeans / STEVE MADDEN c/o boots / CELINE bag

Hi guys! I've been dying to show you these photos and tell you all about my Designer Outlet Roermond experience, and now the time has finally come. Since December started yesterday, it seemed appropriate to bomb the blog with Christmas lights and cozy winter feelings! If you're following me on Twitter or Instagram, you should have noticed that a week ago I visited Designer Outlet Roermond with colleagues Elien, Yara, Joyce, Ibe and Jonas. We were invited to discover both the established names such as Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana and Burberry but also the recently renovated Prada store. Let me quickly guide you through my outfit before I continue telling you about our wonderful trip. It was a cold but beautiful day and since I had just returned from my trip to Paris with C&A, I thought it would be a good idea to take out my new stunning C&A coat for the first time. Let me tell you: this coat is a dream. Not only is it warm enough to wear through winter, it also radiates sophistication, refinement and class. I wore it with my new beloved Zara scarf that my mum surprised me with but decided to edge up the outfit with ripped jeans and biker boots. I pulled this outfit together very early in the morning while I was still half asleep, but it turned out to become one that I'd wear again in heartbeat. Photos by Dogs & Dresses.

On to our shopping experience! The McArthurGlen head of marketing and our host Jolanda warmly welcomed us with a yummy latte macchiato and a quick tour through the village. During this tour we made a huge mental wish list for the shopping afternoon that would follow. LaPlace offered us a delicious and healthy lunch, after which we were ready to cause our wallets some damage. With a gift card in one hand and our cameras in the other, we immediately raced to Mulberry, where three of us girls fell madly in love. Do I still need to explain what happened next? Credit cards popped up, shopping bags were decorated with bows and huge smiles appeared on faces. What struck me most, was that the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, unlike most shopping assistants at regular designer stores. My overall experience was pretty much perfect: I felt very relaxed (apart from the excitement, of course) and very welcome while shopping. Next to that, the outlet prices didn't disappoint me either. Most big Prada bags come for €590 and you can find a Mulberry Alexa for a price between €750 and €1200. Michael Kors watches are yours for about €120 and a range of super cheap Nike sneakers are waiting for you as well. As you've probably seen on Instagram already, I indulged in a burgundy Mulberry Lily bag with golden studs, which went from €870 to an incredible €430. A gift card and a 10% discount was involved as well, so in the end I purchased this dream bag for only €150. I'm being very open about the prices because I believe that's one of the main things you're interested in before driving off to Roermond. And now you know IT'S SO WORTH IT. Enough talking, let's see pictures!

Last but not least, a personal dream of mine came true: I HAVE MY OWN GIF. Dear Ibe snapped me while showing the whirlwind of emotions one goes through when buying a designer bag or anything expensive really. This is the result. Y'all feeling me?

To end with, I'd like to thank McArthurGlen & Designer Outlet Roermond for the invite, the wonderful welcome, the cozy times and the great shopping experience! We had a blast and I'll be back...

PULL&BEAR coat / PRIMARK denim skirt / BOOHOO c/o cardigan
H&M tee, beret & bag / WELOVEMUSTHAVES c/o sunglasses / ZARA ankle boots

For some reason it feels unnatural to wear mustard, chopper or other similar warm colours during winter months. At the end of autumn I always feel like I have to say farewell to these shades together with the falling leafs. Technically autumn lasts until the end of December, but now that cold temperatures and plastic Santa's hanging out of windows are slowly kicking in, that moment of goodbye has come! This rusty cardigan came in handy to celebrate those last autumn moments, but maybe I should've chosen it's more winter appropriate friend in pastel or more neutral tones. In any case, I love how the chopper complements my olive coloured coat and creates a perfect harmony. Outfit happiness. Photos by Rooftop Antics.

Cow hair boots by JENNIE-ELLEN

Hi guys! Today's post is about two lovely new items from small companies that definitely deserve some attention. First of all: these ahhh-mazing boots by Jennie-Ellen, a very sweet shoe designer from Sweden. Her collection is limited but very coherent. She only started her shoe line in the beginning of 2013 but she's clearly bursting with talent. Let me quote her webshop: "Her ambition is to design high fashion footwear and accessories in an affordable price range for conscious fashion-forward women who desire different shoes for every outfit. The collections are fun and diverse with great attention to detail and quality." These dalmation beauties were my number one favourites, but I also really fancy the Butler Please and No Nonsense booties. My pair of Haunted boots are extremely comfortable and spice up every outfit. Have been wearing these all week now! Let's say this entire brand would be my dream shoe wardrobe...

Arrow necklace by THREADBARE SUPPLY CO

Next up is a Brooklyn based company called Threadbare Supply Co that makes a lot of pretty things. Designer Sara Lugo designs and creates every piece herself, which makes every item unique. This beautiful arrow necklace immediately caught my eye, next to some other beautiful jewellery pieces and super cozy hand knitted accessories. Make sure to check out the online shop for some great items no one else has!

PATRIZIA PEPE c/o cardigan / CHOIES c/o beanie
CHEAP MONDAY jeans / STEVE MADDEN c/o boots / H&M bag

Hi guys! How is your Sunday going? I just woke up after a smashing Placebo concert yesterday - they are my number one fave band from back in my teens and I was delighted to see them for the third time. I cannot wait to see them front row at Rock Werchter this summer! Now, you're probably just staring at this big ass cardigan instead of actually reading the text, but I'll do some explaining anyway. Earlier this week Patrizia Pepe let me know they were having a sample sale soon and asked me to come over and browse the racks! Amongst other gorgeous statement pieces I found this eye-catching and super warm asymmetric yeti-cardigan that reminded me of French brands like Isabel Marant and IRO. At first I thought it might have been over the top for me, but hey - what's a closet without some striking items? So in the end this fella came home with me! The good news is that the sample sale is yet to start TOMORROW! So if you're in Antwerp on December 9 or 10, make sure to stop by at the Patrizia Pepe showroom. You'll find a lot of party wear - think furry jackets and embellished dresses - but also nice knits for winter and basic jeans you'll wear all year round. So if you're interested in shopping Patrizia Pepe for a 70% discount: all the information is here to be found. Happy shopping! Photos by Wriemis.

Hello people! Did you week start off well? Mine sure did, as I was preparing something special for you! First of all I finally want to present you my beautiful Lily bag by Mulberry that I bought at Designer Outlet Roermond a little while ago. You've probably seen it on Instagram but now it was time to make a proper introduction on the blog. So, how did we meet? During our visit to Designer Outlet Roermond we got a quick guided tour through the village to get a first impression of the shops. My heart skipped a beat the moment my eye caught this beauty in the Mulberry outlet store. During lunch we had some time to think about all the prettiness we saw earlier, but the damage was already done: massive tree logo's in my eyes. It wasn't long before dear Lily and I went home as new BFF's.

And now I've got some great news for my dear readers — your Tuesday morning will never be the same again, I promise. You can win your own new BFF right here on Polienne. YES, I'm talking MULBERRY baby! It's not the Lily that I'm giving away, but the adorable Bayswater iPhone bag! This tiny bag will fit your phone, a key or two and a range of credit cards. What does a girl need more? And since everyone deserves a good Christmas shopping spree Designer Outlet Roermond added a €75 gift voucher and another voucher for lunch and coffee to this dazzling prize. Not to mention sales have already started at Roermond Outlet so you'll find some great bargains while shopping with your new cutie bag! To give you some outfit inspiration make sure to check out how the beautiful Yara styled the iPhone bag here and here.

DISCOUNT CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

Ho ho ho! Have you done your Christmas shopping already? I don't know about you guys, but I'm always so late with these things. I usually postpone this task because of the horribly crowded shopping streets. At my parents' we don't really buy presents for each other (they just buy us presents - lucky us!) although I like to surprise my family members with a little something now and then. Last year I purchased some small gifts on the internet and was delighted to find that most webshops do special actions or even free shipping. Fabulous discount codes combined with not being chased by hysterical shoppers with their crying children? Christmas shopping was never so much fun. And Flipit is here to make it even more pleasant. They offer discount codes for several great online shops that are regular clicking material for most of us. Good to know is that right now they're doing a Zalando special! So, if you're still looking for that one unique, but budget-friendly present for your mother or baby cousin, you might want to have a look on Flipit

C&A c/o pastel coat & cashmere v-neck sweater / CHOIES c/o pompon beanie
ZARA boyfriend jeans / OFFICE loafers / BALENCIAGA bag

Finally found some time to write about the C&A event in Paris back in november! I just know you guys have been dying to read it. There we go! We travelled to Paris in style: abusing the free wifi on my dearest Thalys, grabbing taxi's to our hotel and finding delicious macaroons upon welcome. (Please do forget about the on-the-go burger menu you've seen on Instagram...) C&A was so kind to book us a room in a hotel I'd like to recommend to all of you: Hotel Basile, au coeur de Paris entre Madeleine et Opéra. I'll translate that for you: it's in the middle of the luxury shopping district.

We quickly changed into a more fancy outfit, Elien managed to tame my hair (imagine us bungling in a small French bathroom: me balancing between the toilet and the lavatory, Elien trying to keep distance between the hot curling iron and her own skin) and we jumped in our private taxi's that brought us to the new C&A store at Boulevard de Madeleine. I've told you already that only a handful of international bloggers were invited to be the very first shoppers in this brand new store. The interior of this massive flagship store received a complete facelift, which created more space, more light and the opportunity of a more pleasant shopping experience. We received a gift card and took our time to carefully select and try on all our favourite pieces.

The next day Elien and I got up bright and relatively early to capture our new purchases in a full outfit! You've seen the pastel coat (earlier this week) (LOVE) and now it's time to show you my second C&A item: the perfect oversized black V-neck cashmere sweater. That thing is unbelievably soft and makes me wish I could pull off entire outfits in cashmere. I'm unbelievably happy with my two choices, since they're both timeless pieces I will wear in many fasjun seasons to come. My question to you is: would you have ever expected my coat and sweater to be C&A? My point exactly! Sometimes it's good to explore and revaluate your opinion on brands you dislike, because it might be totally worth it.

PULL & BEAR coat & lace skirt / COS men's turtleneck sweater
PRIMARK sneakers / ZARA scarf / BALENCIAGA bag

Ahhh, Paris. Two days ago I told you about my trip to the cité d'amour with C&A and today the story continues. The day after the store opening we still had some hours left before grabbing our train back home. With partners in crime Elien and Kim I explored a bit of our hotel's neighbourhood and closely inspected Galéries Lafayette from the inside. And of course we took the chance to use pretty picturesque Paris as a backdrop for outfit photos! I was wearing my new friend for winter; a cozy, speckled COS sweater that I found at the men's section last month. Love at first sight! It's very warm but not bulky so I can easily wear it underneath all my coats, like this particular one from Pull & Bear. If I'd imagine what my ideal classy khaki military coat would look like, this one comes very, very close. I'm one happy gal! I hope you're as well and you're having a great Sunday! Outfit photos by Dogs & Dresses

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS

COS cardigan / COS scarf / TIERLANTIJN antler / & OTHER STORIES camera bag / IKEA lamp
LA MAISON D'ANNA G hand / CELINE sunglasses / MUJI duvet cover / MICHAEL KORS bag

Only 1 week until Christmas! So yes, I might be pretty late with this Christmas wishlist. Still, I wanted to share some pretty thingies that I would love to welcome in my life! As you can see, I mostly crave for quality fashion accessories and home decoration lately. I'm constantly changing small aspects of my interior like candles and cushions, but I really do NEED a reading light. And an antler. I wouldn't mind curling up in that grey jersey duvet cover on cold winter mornings either... Next up there's essential wardrobe accessories! For I lost my dear Stella McCartney sunglasses back in september, I'm in terrible need of a new black pair and these black Céline "Audrey" sunglasses have been on my wishlist since forever. Another accessory that would make my life so much easier is a beautiful camera bag. I do own a regular camera bag but unfortunately I find it so ugly and impractical at the same time, that it has never left its box in two years. Last week I accidentally smashed my camera and semi-broke my lens (my brother fixed it, no worries!) so I think it's time to take responsibility and finally get myself a proper camera bag. Last but not least I would love to snuggle in this super cozy cardigan by COS. There you have it, what's on your wishlist?

PS: this (very pricy) wishlist is just imaginary, I'll probably end up getting socks anyway!
